Visualization Academy On-Line Training System Requirements
Our on-line training classes will utilize various aspects of the 3DVIA software platform . System hardware and operating system requirements for 3DVIA Composer, 3DVIA Sync, 3DVIA Enterprise Sync, 3DVIA Composer Player, and 3DVIA Composer Player Pro are as follows.
Important: To import SolidWorks files**, review the System Requirements for SolidWorks. Supported Microsoft Windows® Operating Systems*:
Microsoft Windows 7 32-bit and 64-bit
Microsoft Vista 32-bit and 64-bit
Microsoft XP Professional 32-bit and 64-bit
Microsoft Server 2003 32-bit and 64-bit
Microsoft Server 2008 32-bit and 64-bit
Hardware Requirements:
Disk Drive
3DVIA Composer, 3DVIA Sync, and 3DVIA Enterprise Sync: Minimum: 3 GB free space
3DVIA Composer Player and 3DVIA Composer Player Pro:
Minimum: 50 MB free space
Network Adapter
Ethernet adapter is required for licensing purposes (excluding 3DVIA Composer Player)
Processor
Intel® or AMD® processors
Memory (RAM)
Minimum: 512 MB Recommended: 2 GB
Graphics Adapter
Recommended: Graphics adapter with 3D OpenGL acceleration
Pointing Device
Mouse or other pointing device. A three-button mouse is recommended for usability.
Note: * WOW (Windows on Windows) lets 32-bit processes run on Windows 64-bit operating systems (not recommended). ** Software Prerequisites: 3DVIA SolidWorks Plug-in 32-bit requires SolidWorks 32-bit and 3DVIA SolidWorks Plug-in 64-bit requires SolidWorks 64-bit installed.
